On January 27, in the National Assembly the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration hosted the Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia Jan Plešinger and the Desk Officer for Armenia of the European External Action Service Martti Lutsar.

Thanking the guests for the EU efforts in ensuring stability in our region, Arman Yeghoyan highly appreciated the work of the EU Monitoring Mission and the creation of the EU Civil Mission in Armenia.

The Committee Chair presented them in detail the situation created because of blocking the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan and its possible consequences on the situation in the region.

A reference was also made to the process of the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), the Armenia-European Union relations in different contexts, the work of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration and a number of other issues.
